POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a generic job description. Specific requirements may differ depending on the needs of the business. This position is based on Guangzhou lab, reports to Technical Manager-Hygiene

PRIMARY DUTIES

1.Understand voice of customer and market, conduct product design and further development.
2.Raw material &  vendors qualification and substitution.
3.Conducts and/or participates in research projects within a scientific specialty. Is responsible for meeting research goals within time and budget constraints.
4.Act as the project owner assigned by Technical Manager, work closely with commercial counterparts to drive and track project results entirely, including designing, preparation, handling, and following up.
5.Organizes the development findings, draws conclusions and summary the report.
6.Regularly communicate with internal technical teams, including global and regional R&D, sub-lab team. If needed, good communication with other supporting functions, such as technical service team.
7.Provide technical support to supply chain team and operation and quality department if necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Master degree in Polymer, Material Science

PLUS

1.Self motivated, proactive and confident. Can-do attitude.
2.Can drive a project from beginning to the end under proposed time frame. Can set timeline and prioritize multiple projects.
3.Strong interpersonal skills are needed to effectively communicate with global technical team and sub-lab colleagues.
4.Good writing and presentation skills, as both are required while interacting with external customers and internal colleagues.
5.Independently Development experience in Hot Melt Adhesive, 3-5 years R&D experience is perferred.
6.Language: English, Mandarin.
