The Comprehensive and Challenging Trainee Program
The management trainee program will be a focus project based training working through different departments with different kind of challenge in real manufacturing life.
The program structure
The trainee is going to rotate in different departments with different challenge projects – Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Program Management etc. They will present with a business issue the department is facing. Under the departmental mentor, the trainee is required to take leadership to identify resources, define issue statement, develop implementing strategy and get it implemented. The normal duration of the project is about 3 to 4 months.
The most distinctive difference for this program
?Business challenge
The trainee is going to tackle a critical business challenge which will have a big impact on the business. In the project, they are not the trainee but the leader to ride through the challenge.
?Management responsibility
The trainee (leader) will assume the same responsibility and authority as a normal manager to manage the resources allocated to them. They will have a first hand opportunity to learn how to build team, how to define implementation strategy, how to deal with the performing and non performing team member and how to get strategy implemented. The mentor manager is for support and consultation. The decision making laying on the trainee (leader).
