·1984年 中山大学化学系毕业,获理学学士学位;
·1987年 中山大学地球与环境科学学院研究生毕业,获理学硕士学位;
·1995年—1999年 高分子化学与物理专业在职博士研究生,1999年获博士学位。

工作经历

· 2003—2004年 美国University of Illinois 高级访问学者;
· 1987—至今 中山大学从事功能高分子材料、吸附分离功能材料、活性炭纤维材料、环境材料、环境地球化学等的研究和教学工作。
· 广东省材料研究学会常委、副秘书长;
· 广东省材料研究学会能源与环境材料专业委员会副主任;
· 中国材料研究学会环境材料分会委员;

· 吸附分离功能纤维的设计及制备;主要开展离子交换纤维、螯合纤维、活性炭纤维的结构设计和制备。开发该类材料在分离提纯、医药、分子识别等方面的应用。
· 纳米孔结构炭功能材料;主要开展活性炭纤维、复合型纤维状活性炭材料的结构设计、表面改性及其功能化研究。负载纳米金属及氧化物的多孔碳材料的设计和制备;其它新型多孔碳材料的开发。
· 能源材料;主要开展碳材料及其在燃料电池中的应用研究;多孔碳材料在贮氢方面的研究。
· 环境净化系统及工程应用开发;主要开展功能纤维及多孔碳材料在污水处理及饮水净化等方面的应用研究;
· 多孔碳材料在大气净化及有机溶剂回收方面的应用研究;
· 多孔碳材料在贵金属提取或回收方面的应用研究;
· 多孔碳材料对放射性物质的吸附及其应用研究。
